About the Artist

Hi!

My name is Natalie Beach!

I am a proud fourth generation Oregonian. I grew up in Bend which is nestled in the middle of the state and surrounded by the beautiful Cascade Mountains. These gorgeous mountains inspired me to express my appreciation for the beauty of our world through my art.

My pieces are powerful and dynamic, and the subjects I capture tend to have intensity to them, this is why I came up with the name Octane Creations! When I am not working on my usual subjects of animals, landscapes, and vehicles, I love to indulge in fan art from all types of media!

I currently live in North Idaho with my husband, Tristan, and our Catahoula Leopard Dog, Piper. Tristan plays a huge role in my art journey, he is my number one cheerleader but also an honest critic when needed. Piper serves as my muse making many appearances in my sketchbook, and being a great model for when I need pet portrait practice. I earned my Associate of Arts degree at North Idaho College (NIC) in 2023, this is also where I work full time, and met my husband!

I am very passionate about all things art. I advocate for not only creating art but consuming it as well. We are at a point in time where it is crucial to support artists we enjoy!

Thank you for visiting!
